- Windows 10 Not Recognizing Flash Drive
- Windows Xp Flash Drive Not Showing Up
- Win Xp Flash Drive Bootable
I wanted to install Windows XP Pro on my USB thumb Drive : SanDisk 16GB Cruzer Blade.
I have original copy of windows xp with its product key. I want that I can run XP on any computer within my hand.
Can this be done ?:
Insert the Windows XP Install Disc and your USB drive in your PC.
Now boot from the CD and go through the install process..
When we come to the drive/format section (where we format partition and select which partition windows should be installed)
In there, the setup should show my USB drive, I'll select it and format using NTFS File System (as usual) and the setup will install the Windows on my USB drive. And when I would like, I can boot into windows XP ???
Is this possible ?
Or suggest any way to do this.
Any Help ?

- 95 - Make a bootable Windows Recovery USB Flash drive from a Windows 7 system. 96 - Add an automatic linux ISO file menu to your grub4dos multiboot USB drive. 97 - Write-protect or make a CD/DVD partition on a Flash Drive using SMIUFDiskUtilities. Now use the Settings gearwheel icon to change the CD-ROM contents to your Windows XP Install.
The Windows 7 operating system is currently the most widely installed operating system in the world. The operating system released close to 7 years ago is probably the most loved Windows operating system to date.
UPDATE: We recommend you follow the instructions in our latest how to install Windows 7 to USB external drive guide instead of this old guide for better instructions.
As you all know creating a bootable USB, or installing Windows 7 or Vista using USB is a piece of cake. It doesn’t take much time and effort to have a bootable USB.
